House Groups

House Groups are an excellent way to get to know other people in what can sometimes seem like a large congregation. They can also offer a safe place to explore faith. Groups of 7-14 people meet regularly in members' homes: a chance to discuss, share & get to know one another. St Leonard's currently has 7 groups, meeting on different days and at different times of the day, in people's homes in the parish.

Topics and ways of working vary, but groups offer a chance to get a better sense of belonging and feeling supported in the faith journey. Food, companionship, humour, and shared questions are all part of the recipe.

The Christian faith is a journey of exploration and development shared with others. Building our relationship with God often comes through sharing with others on the journey and many find it helpful to do this within a small House Group.
