Courses

As a church we run a course known as Alpha which is designed to help you explore faith. No question is off limits and we'd love to chat with you whatever your current beliefs. There are a lot of good (and bad) books out there. We've picked out a few that we have found helpful which are accessible, clear and easy to get hold of. If you want to go deeper with any of these topics then please get in touch we have plenty more to suggest.

Is it reasonable to believe in Christianity?

How can you believe in Christian faith in the modern world? This is an excellent book if you are struggling to understand how a rational intelligent person could believe some of the things Christians say they believe without switching off their brain. Its jargon free and clear without being too technical.

How do Christian belief and an understanding of science fit together? This book is accessible whether or not you have a background in science.
